On 28 April 2010 workers in more than 100 countries will gather to remember the men, women and children who were killed or injured at work or became sick from exposure to hazardous substances. Workers' Memorial Day is the day when we "mourn for the dead and fight for the living" drawing attention to the plight of the 2.2 million people worldwide who die each year because of their work.

The Workers’ Compensation Information Service, operated by the Queensland Council of Unions, was established to assist Queensland workers understand their rights and entitlements under the workers’ compensation scheme in Queensland.

The Workers Health Centre provides occupational health and safety information, advice and services to unions. It is a merger of the services previously provided by the Workers Health Centre and the QCU OHS Unit.

Safework College of Workplace Health and Safety is a union-based provider of workplace health and safety training, including training for Workplace Health and Safety representatives and officers and general induction training. Safework can provide training throughout Queensland.
