Women - Anna Stewart Memorial Project

For 20 years the QCU has run the Anna Stewart Memorial Project as an affirmative action strategy aimed at assisting rank and file women to become more active in the labour movement.

The Project also encourages them to seek positions within the union movement by placing rank and file women with unions for a week.Unions can participate by nominating a female member and either training her in their own office or in a 'hosting' union office. Read more: Overview
